Tui Oaks Motel - Taupo

I appreciated the attention to detail in the room's décor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere despite its compact size. Accessing the bathroom through two doors was unique, though it did contribute to the overall cramped feel, particularly with limited space between the wardrobe, bedside cupboard, and bed.

Awesome and incredible location close to the beach and shopping, met requirements. The room I stayed in was tidy and appropriate with the rest of the unit and an awesome view plus fridge.

The whole place had a quiet atmosphere and I would stay here again. The rooms were neat and had a microwave, an electric kettle, and fridges. Location: the hotel was just next door to the lake at Open Water Champs, and town centre. Also, a public park was easily accessible, set only 1 km away.

The fine lake view, the friendly staff, the cleanliness was amazing.

The place felt really outdated and had a musty smell. Plus, getting through those heavy doors with luggage was a workout. I expected much more, especially for the price. Definitely not a great first impression.

Location to town, view of lake and mountains, clean and tidy, great facilities, friendly staff.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station, allowed us to use the laundry facilities without charge, short ten minute walk into town. Lovely views of the lake from big windows in the dining room.

The motel has a beautiful view, and I appreciated the upgrade to my room, which made for a comfortable stay. The location in Taupo is excellent, with easy access to the town and a fantastic restaurant right next door that served amazing food and offered excellent customer service. Plus, having a microwave, toaster, and kettle in the room made it easy to be self-sufficient, especially since I arrived late and missed their call. I was warmly greeted by the staff upon my arrival, making the check-in process seamless and stress-free. I also loved that the Taupo DeBretts Hot Mineral Pools were only a 7-minute drive away, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Good Location

The toilet tissue, hell could they not spent a few extra cents on it? Ive been to public toilets with better, a real let down

During our recent family getaway, we spent two good nights at the motel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff member who made us feel right at home. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a stunning lake view room, which was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We found the complex very dated and 'tired'. Appears to still be 'in the 70's' but comfortable nevertherless. Needs a big cash injection to make the rooms more attractive for the traveller and a big tidyup of appliance wiring within.

Location, parking, outlook lake view, plunger coffey pack, comfotable.

Bathroom layout, prefer seperate shower, bath really not a necessity. but all adaquite for a couple.
